Pam Mendelson

Pam Mendelson has 25 years’ experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency program operations, management, and performance tracking. During that time, she implemented strategic planning, talent management, and program management for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, a $3.2B Recovery Act program that achieved $5.2 billion of total cumulative savings. Pam currently leads the Remote Alaska Communities Energy efficiency (RACEE) Competition and other EERE efforts to bring resources to implement successful and sustainable clean energy projects in low to moderate income communities. 

Previously, Ms. Mendelson was a founding contributor to the US Environmental Protection Agency's voluntary Green Power Partnership Program recognizing leadership activities US Green Power Markets. Pam’s hobbies include guest lecturing at American University on Energy Policy and managing rental properties in Denver, CO. Pam holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and a M.S. in Natural Resource Policy from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources.
