A member of the Anne Frank House board since 2009, June chairs the board’s Development Committee, focusing on corporate, foundation and community fundraising initiatives. Since 1991, June has played a major role as a volunteer leader in DC’s homelessness arena. She was one of the founders of Friendship Place and the St. Luke’s Shelter for Homeless Men in Northwest DC. She has served as co-president or board chair of both organizations for many years and continues to serve on the Executive Committee of Friendship Place. June is also Vice President of Membership for the Adas Israel Congregation Sisterhood where she has been a congregation member since 2008. June has worked in the field of criminal justice for more than 30 years and since 2004, has been the Executive Director of the Council for Court Excellence.
